THE LONGEST PAINTING

On the 28th May 2000, at Chieri, Turin, a single unbroken canvas 260.30 metres long by 65 centimetres wide was painted by 150 participants of the "fustagno d'autori" ("author's fustian") day organised by the Fondazione Chierese per il Tessile e per il Museo Tessile (Chierese Foundation for Textiles and for the Textile Museum). It was consequently recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. Click her to see the official document verifying this.
